1. Download the tutorials and documentation.

     From the DOWNLOAD page on the web site follow the instructions to download the 
     MineGeo_Tutorials.exe file for tutorials and documentation. 
     The self extracting executable is password protected - contact MineGeo. 
     The tutorials and documentation will be extracted to directory C:\MINEGEO\MANUALS.

2. Downloading the powerpoint presentation

     From the DOWNLOAD page on the web site follow the instructions to download the 
     MineGeo_Presentation.exe file for a Powerpoint Presentation. 
     The self extracting executable is password protected - contact MineGeo. 
     The tutorials and documentation will be extracted to directory C:\MINEGEO\MANUALS.

3. Downloading the setup and installation software

     From the DOWNLOAD page on the web site follow the instructions to download the 
     MineGeo_setup.exe file for setup and software install.
     The self extracting executable is password protected - contact MineGeo. 
     The setup and software files will be extracted to directories C:\MineGeo and 
     C:\MINEGEO\DOWNLOADS

4. Burn a software backup CDROM.

     Once all the downloads are complete and download files extracted to their correct locations
     then you should burn a CDROM of the data. 
     
     To do this insert a blank unused writable CDROM into your CDBURNER drive. 
     If your CD burner software doesn't automaticall start then start it manually. 
     Select the option to burn a data CD (not music or write pictures), that will be readable 
     on any PC. 
     Navigate in your CD burner software to the directory C:\MINEGEO
     Select/Add all files and sub-directories to be burnt. 
     Enter the name of the CD as MINEGEO
     Select the option to Burn and Verify the CD.
     Remove the CD and label it as MINEGEO

5. Install and License activation using your MineGeo CDROM. 

     The CD requires a PC running MS Windows and a web browser
     - either Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator. 
     You operate this Minegeo CDROM just like an off-line web site. 
     To start things happening insert the CD in your CD drive. 
     If the setup software doesn't autoload then use Windows Explorer to navigate to 
     your CD drive and 'double click' on INDEX.HTML to start your browser in off-line mode. 
     Some links on the off-line pages require you to be connected to the internet for them to work. 
     
     From the "home" page there are four main 'buttons' for selection.
     REVIEW WEB SITE  - requires internet connection to access www.minegeo.com.
     POWERPOINT       - To run the powerpoint presentation - usefull for overview of capability.
     DOCUMENTATION    - To display and print out the tutorials and documentation.
     INSTALL SOFTWARE - To install software- follow the defined steps. 
                        At the end of installation a *.TXT file is displayed - please print it out
                        and follow the instructions.
                        After The install is complete you have to email an information file 
                        to us at Minegeo - then you WAIT for the license activation which 
                        will be sent to you by return.
                        You then return to this page and ACTIVATE your software.

6. Install and License activation usung your PC. 

     If you do not use a CDROM then use Windows Explorer or My Computer to navigate to 
     directory C:\MINEGEO and double click on INDEX.HTML and proceed as for step 5 above.
